Authentic single vineyard, 100 % Xarel·lo from Vinya dels Taus. Fermented and aged for nine months in new, two- and three-year-old French oak barrels from the great cooperages of Burgundy. Its suitability for ageing, its elegance and its singular nature have led to its being held in high regard as an aged white wine throughout the global wine world.
VINYA DELS TAUS
This vineyard is where the project began and has served as its guide ever since. In 1945, the plot was planted with Xarel·lo. It stands on the site of an old Civil War airfield in Sabanell, a small village in the Alt Penedès, and is surrounded by a singular vineyard landscape with the Montserrat mountain range rising up impressively in the distance. Standing very close to the vineyard is the old family house, which has been refurbished and fitted out as a winery. This is the vineyard in which Nun was born.
